2024 applications are officially open at Ikhala TVET College for the following 3rd trimester courses:

• Mechanical Engineering N4 
• Civil Engineering N4
• Electrical Engineering N4

REQUIREMENTS FOR THE 2024 THIRD TRIMESTER ENGINEERING COURSES AT IKHALA TVET COLLEGE 

• Mechanical Engineering: Pass ALL or three (3) of the Mechanical Engineering N3 Subjects OR Gr 12 Pass Technical National Senior Certificate (Technical Mathematics 40%, Technical Science 40%, English 40%) OR NCV Electrical Engineering Studies L4 Pass
• Civil Engineering:  Pass ALL or three (3) of the Civil Engineering N3 Subjects OR an NQF Level 4 Certificate in Civil Engineering & Building Construction OR Gr 12 Pass Technical National Senior Certificate
• Electrical Engineering: Pass ALL or three (3) of the Electrical Engineering N3 Subjects OR Gr 12 Pass Technical National Senior Certificate (Technical Mathematics 40%, Technical Science 40%, English 40%) OR NCV Electrical Engineering Studies L4 Pass

Note: An APS score of 22 will be used for selection. 
 

How to apply at Ikhala TVET College for 2024

Here is a step by step guide on how to apply online at Ikhala TVET College for trimester 3: 

1. Visit the Ikhala TVET College website HERE 
2. Click on the Career Guidance Test link under Step 1, to complete the compulsory placement test. 
3. After completing the short test, click HERE to continue with your online application
4. Click on "Select a course"
5. Select the year 2024
6. Choose the duration of the course 
7. You will be asked to select the campus and the registration type (Full time)
8. You will need to select the course you want to apply for
9. After selecting the course, click on the "APPLY FOR THIS COURSE" tab

• Your certified ID copy
• Your next of kin certified ID copy 
• Your certified latest results/highest qualification.
• Proof of residence
