Westcol TVET College is now accepting applications for the 2025 academic year. The applications are open for both new and returning students who want to pursue NATED & NCV courses in various disciplines such as business, hospitality and engineering. Westcol TVET College 2025 Applications remain open until 31 October 2024.

Western College for Further Education and Training (Westcol) was founded in 2002 when the former Carletonville and Randfontein Technical Colleges merged, the merge brought about a new logo meant to represent a new and vibrant organisation of unity and opportunity. REQUIREMENTS FOR THE 2025 AVAILABLE COURSES AT WESTCOL TVET COLLEGE:

The specific admission requirements for Westcol TVET College may vary depending on the course you're applying for. However, here are some general guidelines:

  1. Passed grade 12 OR NCV L4 to qualify for N courses
  2. Passed grade 9, 10 or 11 to qualify for NCV courses
  3. Passed an Introduction course (e.g Intro-Business Management) to qualify for N courses
  4. Passed N3 in related fields to qualify for N courses

How to apply at Westcol TVET College for 2025

Here is a step by step guide on how to apply online at Westcol TVET college for 2025:

  1. Visit the Wetcol TVET College’s Coltech application platform HERE
  2. Click on "select a course" tab 
  3. Select the year 2025
  4. Select Semester OR Trimester OR NCV
  5. You will be asked to select the campus and the registration type (Full time)
  6. You will need to select the course you want to apply for
  7. After selecting the course, click on "APPLY FOR THIS COURSE" tab

 

You MUST complete the career guidance exploration and placement assessment before you do your online application at Westcol TVET College. Take note of the following regarding the Placement assessment:

  • Please remember that doing this assessment screening is compulsory!
  • However, you still have the right to choose your own course based on your preference.
  • Please follow instructions and answer honestly when doing the test
  • Do not let anyone else complete this screening for you as you will be recommended for the wrong course.
  • The Placement Assessment can be written on the Westcol TVET College. Remember that this assessment is compulsory and failure to complete it will result in your application withdrawn.
  • This placement assessment is for new students or first time Westcol TVET College applicants.


NB: Keep your username and password save as you will need them to access all the application platforms, and you can track you own status by login in your profile.

 

Westcol TVET College Required Documents

Your 2025 application at Westcol TVET College must be accompanied by the following documents:

  • Your certified ID copy 
  • Your certified copy of highest grade passed (matric certificate/school report)
  • Certified copy of parent/guardian identity document 
  • Your proof of residence

NB: Your documents must be certified and scanned!! NO DOCUMENTS OLDER THAN 3 MONTHS WILL BE ACCEPTED!!

 

CLOSING DATE

2025 Applications at Westcol TVET College close on the 31st of October 2024. Only applications received between 02 September to 31 October 2024 will be considered for admission. Applications received after the closing date will not be processed. Spaces to study at Westcol TVET College are limited therefore apply as soon as possible,
