Here's how to apply online at Port Elizabeth TVET college for 2025:

All interested and qualifying prospective students can apply online via the Port Elizabeth TVET College online application platform. To apply simply visit the Port Elizabeth TVET college website HERE and click on the orange "apply now" tab. Then click on the "apply" button under prospective students. If you are a new student (First time applying at Port Elizabeth TVET College) Click on the "Click Here" button to write the placement test. 

• Once you have written the placement test, go back to the online application portal
• Answer few questions regarding having a student number and accept the application rules and click "continue"
• Capture your biographical information and click "next" to proceed with your application;
• Capture results details then add subjects and click "next";
• Capture educational institution detail and click "next";
• Capture academic application details (choose 2 choices/programmes you wish to apply for), click on "add qualification" and thereafter click "next"
• Verify/Check your application details then click "continue";
• Create your 5 digit PIN (e.g 24689), click "I accept" (twice) checkbox thereafter click "Submit Application";
• Upload your documents, select "yes" on the dropdown list if all your documents are ready to be uploaded and then click "next";
• Click "Load/View Document" >> "Upload document" >> "Choose/Browse file" go to the folder where your documents are stored, choose the relevant document and click "save";
• Once all documents have been uploaded click "complete upload";

Remember to write the COMPULSORY Port Elizabeth TVET College placement test HERE. The test is divided into two. Test 1 is Numeracy Test and test 2 is Language Test. To avoid delays and disappointments, Start with the test before you begin with your online application. Follow Instructions And Answer Questions Honestly. Do not let anyone else complete this screening for you. You will be recommended for the wrong course. If someone else completes the screening this can result in you performing badly in the course recommended by our system.

Remember to write down and store safely your Username and Password when doing the Placement Screening Registration. If your internet connection drops, you may return the same way as a Returning User and you can continue where you left off. You will be requested to sign an acknowledgment that you prefer to make your own choice outside of the placement screening report. Your report can be viewed and saved by you.
