Umfolozi TVET College is now accepting applications for the 2025 academic year. The applications are open for various business studies and engineering courses for semester 1 and trimester 1 intake. Interested individuals should submit their online applications at Umfolozi TVET College by 15 October 2024.

Umfolozi TVET College is one of 9 public Technical and Vocational Education & Training (TVET) Colleges in the province of KwaZulu-Natal. The college has eight main campuses namely, Chief Albert Luthuli, Eshowe, Esikhawini, Mandeni and Richtek, Sundumbili/Isithebe, Bambanana, and Nkandla.

REQUIREMENTS FOR THE 2025 AVAILABLE COURSES AT UMFOLOZI TVET COLLEGE:

The specific admission requirements for Umfolozi TVET College may vary depending on the course you're applying for. However, here are some general guidelines:

  1. Passed grade 12 OR NCV L4 for N courses
  2. Passed grade 9, 10 or 11 for NCV courses
  3. Passed an Introduction course (e.g Intro-Business Management)
  4. Passed N3 in related fields.

  5. You will be asked to select the campus and the registration type (Full time)
  6. You will need to select the course you want to apply for
  7. After selecting the course, click on "APPLY FOR THIS COURSE" tab

 

You MUST complete the career guidance and placement test to ensure you know which career to choose. Take note of the following regarding the Placement assessment:

  • Please remember that doing this assessment screening is compulsory!
  • However, you still have the right to choose your own course based on your preference.
  • You will be requested to sign an acknowledgement that you prefer to make your own choice
  • Your report can be viewed and saved by you.
  • Please follow instructions and answer honestly.
  • Do not let anyone else complete this screening for you as you will be recommended for the wrong course.
  • If someone else completes the screening this can result in, you performing poorly in the course recommended to you.

Umfolozi TVET College Required Documents

Your 2025 application at Umfolozi TVET College must be accompanied by the following documents:

  • Your certified ID copy 
  • Your certified copy of highest grade passed (matric certificate/school report)
  • Certified copy of parent/guardian identity document 
  • Your proof of residence

 

CLOSING DATE

2025 Applications at Umfolozi TVET College close on the 15th of October 2024. Only applications received between 02 to 30 September 2024 will be considered. Applications received after the closing date will not be processed. Spaces to study at Umfolozi TVET College are limited therefore apply as soon as possible,
