Ekurhuleni West TVET College (EWC) has announced that there is space available for Finance, Economics and Accounting L2

Finance, Economics and Accounting NCV L2

The Finance, Economics, and Accounting Level 2 course it is a National Certificate Vocational (NCV) qualification. It is designed to provide foundational knowledge and practical skills in finance, economics, and accounting. This course introduces students to the basics of financial management, accounting principles, and economic concepts. It is ideal for individuals who are interested in pursuing careers in financial services and business management.

After completing the Level 2 course, students can progress to Level 3 and 4 or explore entry-level opportunities in various fields such as bookkeeping, administrative Clerk and customer service representative in financial institutions. Please note that it is advisable to complete your NCV qualification and obtain the L4  certificate before exploring employment opportunities. 

 

N4-N6

After obtaining the NCV L4 certificate students can enrol for any N4 accounting related courses to further their studies. To obtain the Diploma qualification students need to complete their N6 plus an internship in finance, economics and accounting. With the Diploma students can then start to apply for employment or further studies in public universities in South Africa. 

 

Duration of the Finance, Economics and Accounting L2

The NCV level 2 course is completed over one academic year. Classes may be offered full-time or part-time, depending on the institution. Full-time classes involve a structured schedule with regular attendance during weekdays, while part-time options may cater to working individuals or those with other commitments, offering evening or weekend classes.
