2025 applications are officially open at Central Johannesburg TVET College (cjc). All prospective students who desire to further their studies at Central Johannesburg TVET College are encouraged to submit their applications by 30 November 2024.  CJC caters to a wide range of students, including school leavers, individuals looking to upskill, and those seeking to enter trades, technical fields, or vocational careers.

REQUIREMENTS FOR THE 2025 AVAILABLE COURSES AT CENTRAL JOHANNESBURG TVET COLLEGE:

Here are general requirements of courses offered at Central Johannesburg TVET College:

NATED Engineering Studies: N4

To apply for NATED Engineering Studies you need to have passed matric with Mathematics and Physical Sciences OR have Technical subjects OR Passed NCV L4 in related fields

NATED Business Studies: N4

To apply for NATED Business Studies you need to have passed matric with Accounting/Business studies OR other commercial subjects OR Passed NCV L4 in related fields

NATED Utility Studies: N4

To apply for NATED Utility Studies you need to have passed matric with Business studies/Hospitality OR Tourism OR Passed NCV L4 in related fields

NCV Engineering Studies: L2

To apply for NCV Engineering Studies you need to have passed Grade 9, 10, 11 OR have ABET Level 4 certificate.

NCV Business Studies: L2

To apply for NCV Business Studies you need to have passed Grade 9, 10, 11 OR have ABET Level 4 certificate.

NCV Utility Studies: L2

To apply for NCV Utility Studies you need to have passed Grade 9, 10,11 OR have ABET Level 4 certificate.

 

How to apply at Central Johannesburg TVET College (CJC) for 2025

Here is a step by step guide on how to apply online at Central Johannesburg TVET college for 2025:

Central Johannesburg TVET College (CJC) has a two-step application process for new students. New students have to write a placement test. This test is compulsory. Failure to write the test will result in your application being rejected. This online screening test helps determine your academic strengths and suitability for your chosen program.

Click HERE to write the compulsory screening/placement test. DO NOT LET ANYONE WRITE THE TEST FOR YOU!! THIS TEST IS COMPULSORY!! FAILURE TO COMPLETEE THE TEST, WILL RESULT IN YOUR APPLICATION DISQUALIFIED!!

Once you've completed the placement test, proceed to do your online application 

Click HERE to apply online at CJC (new students) then proceed to click on the "Click Here to Start with the Application Process"

Follow these easy steps to successfully submit your online application:

  1. Answer few questions regarding having a student number and accept the application rules and click "continue"
  2. Capture your biographical information and click "next" to proceed with your application;
  3. Capture results details then add subjects and click "next";
  4. Capture educational institution detail and click "next";
  5. Capture academic application details (choose 2 choices/programmes you wish to apply for), click on "add qualification" and thereafter click "next";
  6. Verify/Check your application details then click "continue";
  7. Create your 5 digit PIN (e.g 24689), click "I accept"(twice) checkbox thereafter click "Submit Application";
  8. Upload your documents, select "yes" on the dropdown list if all your documents are ready to be uploaded and then click "next";
  9. Click "Load/View Document" >> "Upload document" >> "Choose/Browse file" go to the folder where your documents are stored, choose the relevant document and click "save";
  10. Once all documents have been uploaded click "complete upload";
  11. Confirmation Page, end of application

 

Central Johannesburg TVET College Required Documents

Your 2025 application at Central Johannesburg TVET College must be accompanied by the following documents:

  • Your certified ID copy 
  • Your certified copy of latest results (matric certificate/school report)
  • Certified copy of parent/guardian identity document 
  • Your proof of residence

NOTE: All documents to upload should be in PDF format and certified!!

 

CLOSING DATE

The closing date for the 2025 applications at the Central Johannesburg TVET College is the 30th of November 2024. Only online applications submitted in time will be processed! Ensure that you fill in your online application in full because incomplete applications will not be allowed for the 2025 applications.
