Flavius Mareka TVET College is located in the Free State, the college was formed in 2000, after the merger of Sasolburg Technical College, Kroonstad Technical College, and Mphohadi College of Education and is named after Flavius Mareka, a well-known figure in political, cultural, and educational circles. REQUIREMENTS FOR THE 2024 SECOND SEMESTER BUSINESS STUDIES COURSES AT FLAVIUS MAREKA TVET COLLEGE:

Business Management 

• N4: Grade 12 Certificate with minimum: 50% Accounting and 40% English
• N5: Passed 3 subjects at N4 level
• N6:Passed 3 subjects at N5 level 
   

Farming and Mechanisation

• N4: Grade 12 Certificate with minimum 40% for English and 40% Maths or 50% Maths Lit
• N5: Passed 3 subjects at N4 level. 
   

Human Resource Management 

• N4: Grade 12 Certificate with minimum: 40% for English
• N5: Passed 3 subjects at N4 level
• N6:Passed 3 subjects at N5 level
   

Intro to Business Management 

•  Grade 12 Certificate with minimum: 40% English
   

Management Assistant 

• N4: Grade 12 Certificate with minimum 40% for English and 40% CAT
• N5: Passed 3 subjects at N4 level
• N6:Passed 3 subjects at N5 level
   

Educare

• N4: Grade 12 Certificate with minimum 40% for English
• N5: Passed 3 subjects at N4 level
• N6:Passed 3 subjects at N5 level

Marketing Management 

• N5: Passed 3 subjects at N4 level
• N6:Passed 3 subjects at N5 level
