West Coast TVET College admission requirements vary depending on the course you want to apply for. Here are general requirements of courses offered at West Coast TVET College:

• NATED Engineering Studies:

To apply for NATED Engineering Studies you need to have passed matric with Mathematics and Physical Sciences OR have Technical subjects OR Passed NCV L4 in related fields.

• NATED Business Studies:

To apply for NATED Business Studies you need to have passed matric with Accounting/Business studies OR other commercial subjects OR Passed NCV L4 in related fields.

• NATED Utility Studies:

To apply for NATED Utility Studies you need to have passed matric with Business studies/Hospitality OR Tourism OR Passed NCV L4 in related fields.

• NCV Engineering Studies:

To apply for NCV Engineering Studies you need to have passed Grade 9, 10, 11 OR have ABET Level 4 certificate.

• NCV Business Studies:

To apply for NCV Business Studies you need to have passed Grade 9, 10, 11 OR have ABET Level 4 certificate.

• NCV Utility Studies:

To apply for NCV Utility Studies you need to have passed Grade 9, 10, 11 OR have ABET Level 4 certificate.

How to apply at West Coast TVET College for 2025

Here is a step by step guide on how to apply online at West Coast TVET college for 2025:

• You can access the website HERE. 
• Click on the "student login" tab
• If you are a returning student, enter your student number and pin to apply 
• If you are a new student, click on the "Apply Here" tab to apply

NOTE: All new students need to undergo a Career Guidance and Assessment with the help of the PACE Career Assessment tool to determine applicants numeracy and literacy levels. It is not meant to exclude but rather assist students. Please Contact the Career Guidance Officers/Student Support Officers per campus for more info in this regard.

TAKE NOTE OF THE FOLLOWING REGARDING THE CAREER GUIDANCE AND ASSESSMENT:

• Please remember to write down and store safely your Username and Password when doing the assessment. 
• If your internet connection drops, you may return the same way as a Returning User and you can continue where you left off. 
• Do not let anyone complete the assessment test for you
• Based on the results of the placement, the college will suggest the courses you should apply for BUT you still have the right to choose your own course based on your preference.

West Coast TVET College Required Documents

Your 2025 application at West Coast TVET College must be accompanied by the following documents:

• Your certified ID copy 
• Your certified copy of latest results (matric certificate/school report)
• Certified copy of parent/guardian identity document 
• Your proof of residence (NO affidavits will be accepted! Only utility bills, accounts with your address or a bank statement with your address will be accepted)

PLEASE NOTE: if your application is on "Outstanding Documents" at any time, or you submitted documents that are not clear, cut off or not certified, you need to upload the new documents your application will be seen as INCOMPLETE and can not be verified!

The online application system for the 2025 academic year at West Coast TVET College will close on 30 September 2024. No manual applications will be accepted. Remember; you need to apply for an NSFAS bursary directly on their platform. Outcomes of your West Coast TVET College application can be expected at the end of October 2024.
